I believe that Jesus teaches us to be good stewards of the resources we have been given. In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus tells the parable of the talents, in which a master entrusts his servants with money to invest while he is away. The servants who invest the money and make a profit are praised, while the one who buries his talent and does not use it is condemned. This teaches us that we should use the resources we have been given, whether it be money or anything else, to do good in the world and bring glory to God.
At the same time, Jesus also teaches us to be generous and selfless with our wealth. In Luke 12:33, He says, “Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.” This teaches us that our true wealth is not found in material possessions, but in the eternal rewards we will receive for using our resources to help others and bring glory to God.
In summary, Jesus teaches us to be good stewards of the resources we have been given and to use them to do good in the world, while also being generous and selfless with our wealth. We should not be overly attached to money or material possessions, but rather use them to serve God and others.
Jesus has said that everything you need is provided.
My best spiritual advice on money would be to not let it consume you and to use it to help others and make the world a better place. It’s important to find balance and not become overly focused on accumulating wealth at the expense of other aspects of life, such as relationships and personal growth. Remember that true wealth is not measured by money, but by the quality of one’s relationships and the positive impact one has on the world.
